Xavier Gonzalez, CEO of eMerge Americas — which connects business leaders in Latin America, North America, and Europe — says his organization was one of the first to move into WeWork Ponce de Leon. The location puts them in the same building as like- minded companies. "WeWork attracts the kind of companies we want to do business with," says Xavier. "There are at least two or three businesses on every floor we have partnered with or will partner with in the future." Gonzalez appreciates that WeWork gives eMerge Americas a truly global reach. With more than 210 workspaces around the world, WeWork is everywhere eMerge Americas does business. "Given the work we do, we travel frequently to Latin America," says Xavier. "One of the pros for us about being members is the ability to use a WeWork space in other cities when we're traveling, whether it's Mexico City or Buenos Aires." Juan Castellanos, co-founder of Alana Athletica, says his company's space in WeWork South of Fifth is ideal for them. But the most important benefit for him is the WeWork staff. One employee helped him find a retailer for his company's yoga pants in New York City. Another helped him set up a partnership with Samsung. "I'm really appreciative of everything WeWork has done for our company," says Juan. "I can honestly say, we wouldn't be where we are right now without WeWork."
