The New Home of Miami Open 2019 Hard Rock Stadium hosted a ground-breaking event with Serena Williams, James Blake, Stephen Ross, and Mark Shapiro. The new venue, located in Miami Gardens, will provide fans the ultimate tennis experience. "Every single aspect of this tournament will be an upgrade," says James Blake, tournament director of Miami Open. Notable upgrades include increased on-site tennis courts from 21 to 30, 18 practice courts, instead of 9, plus 20 lighted courts, instead of 6. The general admission parking will increase from 2,500 to 5,166 spaces, and Grandstand stadium will feature a much improved players lounge, locker rooms, and gym. Photo Credit: Javier Delgado
