SCOOP Ryan Lochte celebrated his birthday at LIV. Eva Longoria rallied the female vote on behalf of Barack Obama in Miami. Nina Dobrev celebrated her Ocean Drive cover at Scarpetta at the Fontainebleau. A week later, Travie McCoy celebrated his birthday at Rokbar with T-Pain., while Flo Rida celebrated the Billboard Hot 100 success of his "Whistle" with a party at Bamboo. Nina Dobrev (TV's The Vampire Diaries) celebrated her Ocean Drive cover with a soirée at Scarpetta at the Fontainebleau. Timbaland marked the release of his LeSutra liqueur with a concert at the 'bleau over Labor Day weekend. Joining him in on the fun were Missy Elliott and Nas, with whom he also toasted at Arkadia and Cameo. Up at LIV the next night, 305 lovers Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova held court near Tiësto, while Corey Feldman monkeyed around in the DJ booth. Later in September, Olympic superstar Ryan "Jeah Boy!" Lochte hit the 305 to keep on celebrating his birthday with Jonathan Cheban and The Situation at LIV. Bill Clinton drew in quite a crowd to FIU's Modesto A. Maidique Campus when he spoke on behalf of Barack Obama at the university's U.S. Century Bank Arena. Paul Ryan – that cutie-patootie silly rabbit of a Republican – made a campaign stop at Little Havana's famed Versailles. Back on South Beach proper, Hublot unveiled its King Power 305 Timepiece Limited Edition at a star- studded get-together at Wall that drew out Rick Ross, Anthony Shriver, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, Jeremy Shockey, and DJ Irie, who once again, provided the beats to yet another legendary night out. Florence Welch held court at LIV after the Florence + the Machine show up in Fort Lauderdale, and a few nights later the main Kardashian girl reunited with sister Khloé and brother Rob for a night of partying at the club. French electronic musicians M83 and the one and only Fiona Apple rocked the Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater. In October, Hulk Hogan ripped off his shirt on stage at LIV – 'cause why not – as the Kardashian Krew looked on, while Wilmer Valderrama had a low-key dinner at SUSHISAMBA dromo. And just a week later, yours truly looked in on the Fontainebleau's Sparkle Ballroom as gay family law attorney Elizabeth Schwartz and longtime gay equality activist Matt Foreman were honored by The Task Force at the annual Sparkle gala, a.k.a. the Miami Recognition Dinner, hosted by LeVar Burton. So, until next time…have fun! ML 110 MIAMI LIVING
