Before we launch into the interview, I relay to Aarón a cryptic message about a ping pong match, Casa Dragones, and Tacuba from a mutual friend, but don't name him. Aarón takes a moment to process the information. "Jake?" Yes! (Aarón joined Jake McLaughlin on Quantico in Season 2.) "See, I put two and two together. I was like there can only be one person," says Aarón, adding that he introduced Jake to the tequila. "Wow. It's a small world. I love that guy. He's super cool." He told me you're a really good guy, and you have two beautiful daughters. "I do have two beautiful daughters [Erin and Regina]. I don't know if I'm a good guy, but. Yeah. He says that because he's nice." There was also mention of being in underwear, which Aarón explains has to do with the fact that Jake used to make fun of him for doing an underwear campaign. To the chagrin of the many who would love to see this sexy model in next-to-nothing, Aarón's current modeling gig with Perry Ellis has him fully dressed in some very chic threads. Aarón's decision to collaborate with Perry Ellis was a thoughtful one as he's not one to partner with just anybody —he has to "really feel the brand," which was the case here. "It's obviously a brand that I've been hearing about, I've known since I was growing up, but seeing what they've done with the brand now, was appealing to me." Aarón was attracted to the idea that he could wear a suit and still feel comfortable. "Nowadays with technology —it's incredible that you talk about technology when you're talking about clothing— I can go work out in my suit! First, it's water-repellent and it's raining today, the perfect example, so you don't see a drop on there because it just bounces right off. It's stretchy, which makes it really comfortable. I could go to sleep in it and wear it all day. It's incredible to be to talking about a brand so easily —I don't need to make anything up." Perry Ellis' men's line would've come in handy while Aarón was shooting those action sequences for Quantico. Aarón adds that he wishes they would've come out with this line earlier as lots of pants got ripped while in action. "I remember we went through so many pants!" On the topic of the hit ABC TV show, Aarón did not divulge whether he's returning for Season 3 (official air date is to be announced). "I can tell you two things: well, you have to watch it, and don't believe anything you see. It was great shooting here in the city [NYC]. Exactly when I was finishing shooting that, Perry Ellis approached me with this, which is perfect. I think things always happen when they're in the right moment. I've had to say no to some brands because I was waiting for the perfect one. I believe Perry Ellis is the perfect match for me." What are you watching on TV right now? "It's funny you ask me —watching a series takes up a lot of time so I try to avoid. I watch House of Cards. I just started watching one called Ozark. I'm right in the middle of it and I like it. It's dark. Every time I watch a new series it just amazes me how you can write an incredible story about something I would never even think about writing, for example, this. Who would think that could be appealing? And it is! The way filmmakers are doing things nowadays is incredible, and as an actor, it's appreciated."
