As I was putting together this issue, I noticed a recurring theme: gratitude. Many of the people featured in this issue kept reiterating how lucky or blessed they felt to be able to do what they love, to be busy with work, and to have people who love and care about them in their lives, especially Harry Connick Jr. I was blown away with how gracious and down-to-earth our multi-hyphenate cover star is. And, who can resist a good southern gentleman who sings, backs it up, and makes us laugh? These are just a few reasons that his new talk show, HARRY, has become such a hit. It's incredibly refreshing to meet extraordinarily talented and successful people who are humble and are working to impact the world positively, which is among the reasons Harry wanted to do a show. He is a class act and I can't wait for you all to read our cover story interview inside. Back to the subject of gratitude, I understand that life may not always go as planned or pan out as we'd like (boy, do I know it), but there is so much in this world to be thankful for. A few things that I am grateful for: my family and friends (of course); my health; songs that make me wanna dance; enough money in the bank to satiate my foodie cravings and wanderlust; getting to sit-down with successful people who motivate me, teach me, and restore my faith in humanity; and I am always hyper- aware and immensely grateful for every ounce of kindness I am shown (and being able to give it, too). I hope this issue inspires you, as it has inspired me, to find your gratitude every day. Enjoy!
