The Setai, Miami Beach, situated in the heart of South Beach, is an intimate, serene oceanfront resort that masterfully combines three restaurants: Jaya, Chef 's Kitchen, and The Ocean Grill. Each conveys the warmth of Asian hospitality with exceptional, personalized service and a refreshing kind of comfort. Executive Chef Mathias Gervais, winner of Food Network's Chopped, is the mastermind behind all three restaurants, giving each one a strategically unique vision. Jaya, meaning 'victory' in Sanskrit, is inspired by historical silk and ancient spice trading routes. Jaya's concept is developed around a celebration of culinary diversity featuring regional specialties from Southeast and Northern Asian cultures. Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and their signature Sunday brunch guests can indulge in authentic, shareable style dishes while taking in the oversized design elements such as tall ceilings, bold Asian wood beams framing the rustic stonewalls, and exotic splashes of red throughout the restaurant. Guests have the option of sitting in the 200-seat indoor dining room or immersing themselves in alfresco dining in Jaya's courtyard. The recently renovated courtyard now features a built-in retractable rooftop that fully expands, allowing guests unparalleled sky views while feeling the cool ocean breeze. A stone-filled pool stretches from the north to the south end of the courtyard with dining tables surrounding the edge. Jaya's courtyard is a rare spa-like dining experience, unlike any other in South Beach. If you're looking for a more intimate dining experience go to The Setai's Chef 's Kitchen, formerly known as The Grill, located directly across from Jaya. Chef Mathias Gervais has created a special kind of dining experience different from Jaya and The Ocean Grill that gives guests the opportunity to choose from a select few of his most praised and luxurious dishes. This high-end Asian fusion restaurant is very special to this culinary trifecta, offering Chef's famous James Beard menu. Chef 's Kitchen has a new look to it along with the new James Beard menu. Guests can now sit at chef 's bar with literal front row seats to the kitchen. The bar features modern industrial lights propelling down from the ceiling and a grand tiled countertop with stone detailing. This Chef 's Kitchen has been renovated to better fit its name, as a one-of-a-kind dining experience with Chef Mathias Gervais. For the third and final culinary destination at The Setai, Miami Beach one can dine at The Ocean Grill, formerly known as The Pool and Beach Bar. The Ocean Grill has debuted with a new menu, an expanded dining deck with extra beachfront seating, and extended hours. With its elevated deck, guests are able to take in the breathtaking view stretching all the way to the shoreline of South Beach's glittering waters. This open-air
