Engaged within the first eight months, wedding planning and adequate quality time together proved to be difficult as Krupa's busy career got in the way. "We woke up one day and realized that it's been six years and family was always asking, 'When are you going to get married?'" she said. "When you've been together for so long you just feel so comfortable, like you're already married and you don't need a piece of paper to prove your love for each other. But after six years it's either we do it or we don't do it, because people won't take us seriously anymore." Another reason for the change of heart is that, in her mid-30s, Krupa is finally ready to start a family. When asked about whether she is nervous that pregnancy will infringe on her modeling career, she said no, since she's more focused now on new branding opportunities, like an upcoming swimwear line, than posing for pictures. "I'm kind of at the point in my life where I don't travel like I used to and I'm a lot pickier with the work that I do," the supermodel said. "So even if I do get pregnant I'm going to have the time off during pregnancy, but I'll bounce back pretty quickly because during the pregnancy I plan to stay healthy and work out. I have a few friends who were pregnant and they just had a belly and when they delivered they were back to their old shape; and somehow I think that that will be my situation." Things have been a little bit more complicated for cast member Adriana De Moura this season. The Brazilian bombshell, who moved to Miami to attend law school in 2004 and now works as an art dealer, was forced to open up about the circumstances underlying the revelation that she was already married to "boyfriend" Frederic Marq -- since 2008. When asked for an explanation, De Moura remained mum, but Krupa was only too happy to offer her opinion: "That's a good question…she gives five different excuses for it on the show." Regardless, De Moura has finally achieved her dream wedding. The spring ceremony that paid tribute to Miami heritage was held at Coral Gables Congregational Church and the reception was held at the iconic Biltmore Hotel. "Both represent the elegance and glamour of the roaring 1920s -- the time these two edifices were built," she said, over email. "Once that was established, all the other choices came easily; and the wedding theme was Great Gatsby inspired -- old world elegance and opulence." Krupa was not invited to De Moura's wedding, but she wasn't shy about sharing her thoughts on the photos. "I thought they were beautiful, but I guess after five years of being married and planning your dream wedding, they would be," she offered. There were times, De Moura admitted, that she didn't even know if she and Marq would get to this point. "Frederic and I have gone through ups and downs in our relationship, and there were times I thought we would not make it to having a wedding ceremony," she said. "But time has proven me wrong and I'm happy to be where I am now." Krupa admitted that she is just as happy, and actually credits the show for saving her relationship with Zago. "A lot of people said, before Roman and I decided to work together, 'Be careful: relationships fall apart because of reality shows,'" she said. "But my situation was the total opposite. It actually saved our relationship." Adriana De Moura Unfortunately, the same can't be said for her friendship with De Moura. But the supermodel/swimwear designer is still willing to give it another shot -- for better or for worse. "I don't know what the future holds, but there were some great moments during the season and some rough moments," she said. "So I'm kind of in the middle right now, because I did forgive her for everything that's happened. But I'm not going to forget everything that's happened, so she has to prove herself if she really cares to be in my life as my friend. She has a lot of work ahead of her, but I'm willing to give her that chance." ML MIAMI LIVING 79
