What has surprised you
most about your life?
"I never thought that I'd see as much of
the world as I have… I won Grammys when I was 14. It
doesn't quite sink in when you're that age. When you
get older, and you have stepkids that are
--Mason is 10-- a year younger
than I was when I signed my record deal,
you're like, 'Wow, how did I do what I did at that age?'
I think that's the biggest shock to me. Really, I don't
know how I did what I did. Sometimes I sit and go,
how did I get through all of this?" She sighs
and lets out a laugh. "'Cause it's intense.
It was definitely an interesting way
to grow up."
