Dining in Salento One of the highlights of my stay was experiencing the flavors of Salento through the property’s dining offerings. Breakfast at Mirto Restaurant was a wonderful introduction to the region, featuring local specialties such as artisanal pasticciotti, fresh burrata, cured meats, caffè leccese, fresh fruits, breads, pastries, juices, nuts, and a selection of made-to-order hot dishes. Lunch and dinner focused on seasonal ingredients and traditional Puglian cuisine, including fresh seafood, local vegetables, salads, and regional dishes such as orecchiette with burnt wheat, turnip tops, and aged ricotta. The Pool Bar became a relaxed spot for a light lunch or afternoon coffee, while the Sunset Bar terrace offered a beautiful setting to end the day with a cocktail overlooking the Salento countryside. A Moment of Wellness The Aura Spa provided a peaceful escape during my stay, with spaces inspired by the colors and textures of Salento and interiors featuring local white tuff stone. The spa includes a heated pool with hydromassage, relaxation area, Finnish sauna, steam bath, and Kneipp path. Guests can also choose from a selection of treatments and rituals, while the Fitness Center, equipped with Technogym machines, provides a modern space for workouts. Family-Friendly Experiences Families are also well accommodated at Baglioni Masseria Muzza. The Baglioni Kids Club welcomes children ages 3 to 12 with activities including arts and crafts, ping pong, table football, singing, and dancing, giving younger guests their own space to enjoy while parents relax.
