The Paradoxe Collection Prada Paradoxe is built around a floral foundation, but the collection explores that idea through different interpretations. The original Paradoxe has a more musky character with amber nuances, while Paradoxe Radical Essence introduces woody and nutty notes. The new Paradoxe Sweet Chemistry Eau de Parfum moves in a sweeter direction, with black currant, orange blossom and neroli milk among its key notes. For Zendaya, fragrance is not simply another element of a beauty routine. It is connected to memory and identity. She told Harper’s Bazaar that she keeps a small bottle of Paradoxe in her purse, while her comments to Vogue suggest that the scent has become associated with an important period in her professional life. The relationship also extends beyond fragrance. Zendaya has been using Prada Beauty makeup and skincare with makeup artist Ernesto Casillas during her recent press tours. She previously served as the face of Lancôme’s Idôle fragrance, making Prada Beauty another significant chapter in an already substantial beauty career. But the Prada partnership makes more sense when viewed against the larger trajectory of Zendaya’s career. Her ability to move between seemingly different worlds has been part of her story since childhood.
