The residence explores the relationship between architecture, materials and landscape, combining two highly complex construction systems: a monolithic concrete-and-glass structure and a traditional log cabin built from rare kelo pine. Set beside a forest pond, the home contrasts wood, glass and marble to create a direct connection with its natural surroundings.
