OMNI BEACH LIFE Transformed Miami Swim Week into Carnaval The Brazilian-American brand based in Miami, together with models, brand ambassadors, content creators and partners in sustainability from around the world, turned Miami Swim Week into a weeklong celebration of the pure joy and natural beauty of the Brazilian beach lifestyle, Brazilian beach fashion, ocean conservation, togetherness and admiration for the artists and guests who make Swim Week possible. OBL Designer and owner, Dean Richards, says “It’s not just a show for us. MSW is a week-long self-expression of love, brand values, fearless freedom, artistic creation and our united vision to Save Our Planet, One Bikini at a Time.” Of course it starts with OBL Swimwear. As always, OBL designs are bold, fearless Brazilian designs promoting the confidence of no-judgement, unapologetic femininity. The Brazilian Rainforest Collection is produced from recycled fabrics. Each piece is extremely high quality; hand-made; and double stitched in timeless Brazilian styles; promoting conscientious consumerism as an alternative to fast-fashion. Each print is an OBL proprietary design depicting flora and fauna indigenous to the Amazon rainforest, making each bikini truly one-of-a-kind. Each design is accompanied by a matching semi-sheer sarong. As a long-time sponsor of 4Ocean and Ecodrive, non-profit organizations dedicated to ocean conservancy, the week began with the launch of the OBL CLEAN OCEANS PROJECT, including beach cleanups, a Sustainability Conference, and sponsoring removal of an incremental 250 pounds of waste from the ocean.
