A Liquid Tribute Crafted with Heart Guided by Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco, Recuerdos is an añejo tequila composed of spirits aged between 12 and 38 months in first-use American whiskey casks. Part of the agave used was cooked in a traditional pit oven—an ancestral method that lends the tequila a rich, smoky complexity. “For me, this tequila is a nostalgic return to my grandmother’s kitchen, to the wood-fired stove where she made tortillas,” Tinoco shares. “Creating this tequila was a way to relive those moments with the heart and transform them into a liquid tribute. More than a tequila, it is an act of love—one that turns nostalgia into presence.” The result is an elegant and deeply evocative expression with aromas of cooked agave, smoked wood, orange peel, caramel, and clove. On the palate, it reveals orange marmalade and delicate spiced notes of cinnamon and clove, culminating in a long, warm finish of toasted wood and citrus.
