Fashion and visuals play a huge role in your brand. How does your personal style tie into the stories you’re telling through music? Leah Kate: My music is dramatic, unfiltered, and a little unhinged — and so is my wardrobe. I like to say my aesthetic is hot girl spiraling in style. I’ll wear a lace corset while crying on the dance floor. I love blending soft with savage — like, a girly pink dress with combat boots, or glossy lips while I’m singing about revenge. Everything is a contradiction, and I lean into that. With over 350 million streams and chart-topping singles, how do you stay grounded creatively? What keeps you inspired between projects? Leah Kate: Spiraling helps. Kidding. (Kind of.) Honestly, I stay inspired by living. Messy nights, intense crushes, emotional breakdowns in Ubers — that’s where the songs come from. I also write all the time. Even if it’s just a random phrase in my Notes app, I treat it like a diary. The music always catches up with the chaos eventually. What does the future hold for you and your music? Is there anything specific fans should be looking forward to? Leah Kate: YES. I’m about to drop my sophomore album soon, which is probably the most me thing I’ve ever made. It’s funny, messy, emotional, chaotic — all the moods in one place. I’m also working on more shows, more visuals, and some very unhinged merch. Stay tuned because the spiral is just beginning. As a rising voice in pop with a strong, unapologetic message, what do you hope your listeners, especially young women, take away from your music? Leah Kate: I want girls to feel like they can be everything at once. You can cry and still look hot. You can spiral and still be a genius. You don’t have to have it all together to be worthy or powerful or iconic. My music is about turning your mess into something that slaps. That’s what I hope people take away from it — your breakdown can be your breakthrough. Miami is all about bold style and high energy. How do you feel your music resonates specifically with fans in the city? Leah Kate: Miami is such a vibe — it’s loud, bold, unapologetic, and kinda chaotic in the best way. That’s literally my music. It’s the soundtrack to making bad decisions in good outfits. If you’re dancing through your heartbreak under neon lights with your best friends hyping you up — that’s a Leah Kate moment. If you were to take a dream vacation to Miami, what would your bucket list look like? Leah Kate: I’d hit the beach in full glam — red lip, tiny bikini, dramatic sunglasses. Ocean Drive for some cocktails. Neon lights, late-night dancing, and probably crying in a club bathroom at some point (but make it fashionable). Definitely blasting my own songs in the Uber and pretending it’s a music video. Classic delusion-core.
