Demna used unconventional materials such as crushed aluminum, denim, and rubberized silk to create a futuristic feel without losing elegance. Models walked slowly, some with veiled faces, adding a sense of mystery. Key pieces included an LED-lit cape and a trench coat blended with an opera gown. The precise tailoring honored founder Cristóbal Balenciaga’s work but was filtered through Demna’s unique, disruptive, and dark style.
