Designed by Hilmer & Sattler and Albrecht, the building channels classic Art Deco with a light sandstone façade, strong vertical lines, and elegant symmetry, recalling the sophistication of 1920s grand hotels—an aesthetic carried throughout the interiors. A 2019 redesign by G.A. Design and Carbone Interior Design AG amplifies this spirit, crafting a lavish, cinematic atmosphere. Bold geometry, marble floors, circular columns, rich textures, and polished brass accents evoke timeless elegance with theatrical flair. The grand lobby makes a lasting impression with its sweeping staircase, glittering chandeliers, and intricate detailing that pays homage to Berlin’s golden era of film and culture.
