Valdo’s impact goes beyond its wines, seamlessly blending Prosecco culture with hospitality and lifestyle on a global scale. As a way to honor its sense of place in the beautiful vineyard-lined hills of Valdobbiadene, in the Veneto region of northeast Italy, the Bolla family now welcomes visitors to their modern yet welcoming country house Casa Valdo. Pierluigi Bolla, Valdo’s chairman and CEO, explains, “When visiting Casa Valdo you get a sense of the culture, the way of life among our vineyards, and feel the historical significance here. Casa Valdo is our way of welcoming you into our home.” Casa Valdo has 6 exquisite rooms, a quiet escape yet not too far for a day trip to Verona or Venice. Across the Atlantic, in Miami, Valdo finds other ways to share its story and sparkling expertise through the intersection of wine and art. Starting from mid-November, Valdo is the official wine sponsor of the Florida Grand Opera, with Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G. served in all the VIP areas and private boxes at the Adrienne Arsht Center, and soon multiple labels will be offered at a branded Prosecco Bar at Julia and Henry’s, the vibrant culinary destination in downtown Miami, home of the brand new Massimo Bottura restaurant Torno Subito. Matteo Bolla, third generation family member from Valdo, and based in the U.S. adds, “We are excited to bring Valdo’s spirit and culture to so many new initiatives that extend beyond the wine. Personally, I am proud to represent top quality Prosecco and find new innovative ways to continue Valdo’s role in elevating Prosecco here in the US”.
