With the debut of the brand’s first-ever runway show during Swim Week and boutique store in Sunset Harbor on Miami Beach - SHAN establishes a strong presence in Miami’s thriving fashion scene, making them one of the city’s most sought-after resort wear brands The renowned Canadian resort wear company, led by visionary designer Chantal Levesque, captivated audiences with a remarkable runway debut at Paraiso Miami Beach this summer. The event showcased its highly anticipated and incredibly stylish resort collection, leaving a lasting impression of elegance and sophistication. Showcasing the brand’s Cruise 2024 and Spring-Summer 2024 collections, the runway displayed a tasteful assortment of swim and resort wear modeled by top talent including Real Housewives of Miami star, Julia Lemigova, who was cheered on by the entire cast of the hit TV show, sitting front row at the brand’s fashion show. With its boutique store situated in Sunset Harbor on Miami Beach - and others in top cities like West Palm Beach and The Hamptons - SHAN has already solidified its position as one of Miami’s most coveted brands in the swim and resort wear industry. Chantal Levesque, the creative force behind SHAN, brought her signature blend of elegance, sophistication, and innovation to the forefront, captivating the audience with its timeless designs and ultra-flattering fit. The Cruise 2024 collection featured luxurious swimwear and resort wear options, perfect for jet-setting travelers seeking a sophisticated yet effortless style. Drawing inspiration from warm destinations with lush flora, the collection represents a sense of wanderlust and offers an array of designs that celebrate diversity and individuality. For the Spring-Summer 2024 collection, SHAN presented a refreshing take on swim and resort wear, embracing vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and playful silhouettes. The collection effortlessly blended classic elements with contemporary trends, providing fashionable women and men with a multitude of options to be worn by the poolside or on the beach. While much of the collection is classic in black and white, the colors found throughout the collection are inspired by the sea and coastal regions with tones of sage, coral, and indigo sprinkled throughout. The swim range showcased sophisticated low-cut backs, high legs, sheer paneling on one piece and chic cut-out details on others; while the resort wear brought evening-ready looks for a night out in Miami. Full-length skirts and caftans created a dramatic walk down the runway and are sure to turn heads, wherever they appear. Chantal Levesque expressed her excitement for the successful debut by reiterating that ‘’fashion is a diversion, a decor to embellish the body,” a thought she keeps in mind when designing any new piece. The entire cast of The Real Housewives of Miami including Adriana de Moura, Alexia Echevarria, Guerdy Abraira, Kiki Barth, and Marysol Patton were all in attendance to cheer on cast mate Julia Lemigova who walked the show. Julia was recently signed by top modeling agency, Select Models; making the Shan show her first runway show in Miami. Maya Vander, star of Netflix’s Selling Sunset, also sat front row for Shan’s Resort ‘24 Collection. The new collection will start releasing in October with availability to buy in-store and online at www.shan.ca and at major retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bergdorf Goodman among many others.
