and hold feedback sessions to determine what would make consumers feel as beautiful as possible. The result: Five highly purchased collections full of silhouettes that are as comfortable as they are stylish, and a global ambassador program with women of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds who come together to celebrate womanhood and swimwear. Gomez founded the brand a little over a year ago with her mother, Dina Gomez, out of their home in San Diego, CA. Since its inception, Sienna Swim has premiered collections at San Diego and Hawaii Swim Weeks – and will be a featured designer at Hawaii Swim Show 2023 this Labor Day weekend. Sienna Swim’s latest release, Collection Nº5, which debuted at Miami Swim Week, featured a number of classic surf, lounge, and resort wear with fresh, trendy vibrance. This collection, like the brand’s four capsule collections before it, captures the essence of staple pieces with a youthful zest—a merge between the vintage 1990s bikinis Gomez used to borrow from her mother’s closet, and a quintessential Gen Z flare. Gomez clearly likes to keep it in the family, as Collection Nº5 features two custom, hand drawn prints by Sienna Swim’s graphic designer, Nikki Gomez, who also happens to be Gomez’s sister-in-law. Collection Nº5 sees Sienna Swim roll out 12 new silhouettes, five of which are part of the brand’s new surf collection, designed to move with you and flatter from every angle. This collection is made with only recycled fabric sustainably produced with a low carbon footprint, as soft as it is sustainable, and adheres to the brand’s initiative to be as sustainable as possible. Though it didn’t premiere on the runway, Sienna Swim also released a commemorative Miami Postcard tee which is available on their website now. This Miami Swim Week debut marks a huge milestone for both Gomez and her brand, and the energy at Sienna Swim’s show was definitely celebratory. Guests of the show cheered as Gomez herself opened the runway, before she was joined by models of all shapes and sizes. The ladies danced their ways down the runway and captured the essence of female friendship that remains at the center of this brand from its earliest beginnings in Gomez’s TikTok comments, cheering each other on, laughing, smiling, and serving endless summer California daydreams as they donned the incredible new line. Collection Nº5 is available online at siennaswim.com along with limited inventory from prior collections. Sienna Swim is available to shop in store at professional surfer Kai Sallas’ shop in Honolulu, Hawaii, at the Kaimana Beach Hotel. Collection Nº6 is dropping August 11.
