board shorts, men’s swimwear fashion runway looks made a major mark. We’ve also seen how the public appreciates handmade clothing as witnessed with ONALAJA’s Miami Swim Week runway show which featured beautifully creative and intricate women’s swimsuit designs, ponchos, glamorous skirts and dresses. Liliana Montoya Swim’s show with Macrame dresses, skirts and bikinis honored the Goddess vibe she has been on— while also glamming it up with beautiful, micro, knit, geometric, and traditional bikinis. Bikini geometry and shapes are the new trend as seen at Miami Swim Week 2022. When it comes to women’s bikini bottoms, we’ve seen a variety of sizes, triangles and ready-to-tan tiny bikini bottoms for curved, fit and skinny body shapes alike. Multi-fastened and customizable swimsuit silhouettes based on your form and body type are a major take away from this year’s runway shows.Having customizable silhouettes and geometric designs also made swimwear fun and exciting this Miami Swim Week— giving consumers dozens of ways to wear one swimsuit fashion piece, making the look versatile, multi-functional and adaptive in numerous ways. What we were most excited to see at this year’s Miami Swim Week fashion shows was how the fashion industry is continuing to move forward with new faces and models that are emerging influencers and models from TikTok and Instagram. Influencers from around the world walked the Miami Swim Week runway shows and are taking the industry to another level by making fashion more fun, shareable and a happier, more diverse place. The Parties Miami Swim Week™ The Shows hosted an epic Opening party at Baia Beach Club at the Mondrian Hotel hosted by Whilelmina filled with beautiful models, influencers, media and VOGA Italia Prosecco, Gema Di Luna and Ketel One. Guests witnessed the kick-off of Miami Swim Week in the best way, watching a beautiful Miami Sunset sipping champagne. Not all the events during Swim Week were at night, the popular nightlife part app InList collaborated with Miami Swim Week™ The Shows to host a day-time SPLASH Pool Party and runway show @ the National Hotel featuring real life mermaids and four designers who gave us colorful designs, and inclusivity on the runway.
