Overview The Kimpton Goodland Hotel – Fort Lauderdale Beach is now open in the North Beach Village neighborhood, and just one block away from the beach. As one of the city’s pioneering hotels, the property has been completely reimagined based on the original 1950 “The Escape” hotel designed by George Gill in 1950. Featuring 96-rooms, the boutique hotel spans three two-story buildings and has a modern mid-century design fused with South Florida’s colors and motifs. Enjoy a relaxed vibe in an intimate and cozy atmosphere. Design The Goodland offers a tucked-away oasis of lush greenery and a tropical aesthetic that enhances wellness and inspires a laidback retreat. Taking cues from its surroundings, the hotel was thoughtfully designed to embody the look and feel of its intimate neighborhood, emphasizing modern simplicity, nostalgic style and mid-century architectural details. Thoughtfully curated interior design motifs include fresh color palettes juxtaposed with pops of sun-drenched South Florida colors like turquoise and terra cotta, that exude an extremely breezy vibe. Facilities The Kimpton Goodland Hotel features two pools, one on the ground level and the other atop the 8th floor rooftop (coming soon), each complete with an activated pool bar. A 400-square foot Private dining room, on-site fitness center, courtyard, and zen garden area are also available. Guest room services and amenities include free Wifi, concierge service, daily yoga classes with mats and beach bags provided, daily morning coffee and tea service, same-day dry cleaning and laundry service, plus a vibrant evening social hour. The property is pet friendly offering full pet amenities. Food & Drink Kimpton Goodland is home to an array of vibrant food and beverage concepts, including Botanic at The Goodland and Good Bar. Botanic at The Goodland, the property’s signature restaurant is a new American restaurant rooted in the traditions of regional South Florida cuisine. Led by Executive Chef, Rashaad Abdool, its culinary program is focused on bold, healthful, and eclectic flavors that honor local ingredients and the Latin and Caribbean influences that have shaped the region. Popular dishes include freshly-made ceviche, grass-fed flank steak and pappardelle. Enjoy an array of beverages and classic cocktails made from fresh juices. Local beer and wine are also available. Botanic also offers a daily breakfast menu. Botanic opens up to the outside, becoming symbiotic with its poolside counterpart, Good Bar. At Good Bar, a retro vibe prevails, featuring an effortlessly cool design that is light and breezy, and easy drinking cocktails made up of gin and tonics, inventive frozen drinks and patio-perfect whites and rosés as well as, a concise 15-item menu of shareable plates and lighter fare, served for lunch. Later in the fall, The Kimpton Goodland will introduce a third restaurant and bar concept to round out the experience atop its 8th floor rooftop pool. This gorgeous space will feature stunning views of the Intracoastal and the ocean, plus a full bar with small plate options. Botanic reservations can be one via Open Table or by calling 954-908-7308.
