"I was in Vegas seeing Celine Dion, I remember I was playing the slots… and this girl just starts bawling her eyes out. It makes you think, Wow, I've had an effect on this person. Purely organic. I feel really blessed when I get to meet them. " Gigi's first book tour has been a whirlwind experience that has involved running to the airport, getting ready, heading to the bookstore to sign 200+ copies, Q&As with fans, meet and greets, then doing it all over again the next day. "It was so much fun! My publisher gave me so many dates —over 10. Getting to meet everyone was so special." Meeting fans is something that Gigi is always grateful for. "I was in Vegas seeing Celine Dion, I remember I was playing the slots —by the way, I'm not good," he laughs, "And this girl just starts bawling her eyes out. It makes you think, Wow, I've had an effect on this person. Purely organic. I feel really blessed when I get to meet them." Her documentary, This Is Everything: Gigi Gorgeous, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2017. Viewers received a firsthand look at the journey Gregory went on to transition into Gigi. Gigi watched the documentary with Katy Perry on Katy's four-day live stream event, Katy Perry Live: Witness World Wide. Shortly after, Gigi landed on Time Magazine's "The 25 Most Influential People on the Internet" list (2017). Since then, Gigi has been busier than ever with work and planning her upcoming July wedding with fiancée, Natalia Williams. "Our wedding planner is great. She's making sure we're checking things off the list, but it's been crazy. Lots of taste testing!" Once the wedding rush is over, Gigi will be enjoying some much-needed downtime. "I love it, but only for a day or two. Then I get bored and want to get back to work. It's nice to relax with my two cats by the pool catching up on Vanderpump Rules or RuPaul." Though the internet has brought Gigi much of her fame and success, there's one thing that even the internet can't compete with: being around people. "It's about surrounding myself with real-life people. It's so important to weed out the negative. When I need a break, I have people that build me up —my fiancée, best friend, sister. The internet can be a dark place if you let it [be]." ML Follow Gigi on Instagram: @GigiGorgeous and subscribe to her YouTube channel.
