of the best in Florida. Golfers should consider themselves lucky if they get a chance to play on all three as Reunion is the only location in the U.S. to boast three signature courses from these golfing legends. The Nicklaus course takes golfers deep into the Reunion property, past some brand-new homes and a state- of-the-art clubhouse still being built. Perhaps the most difficult of the three courses, the Nicklaus course features water hazards on half the holes and small, elevated greens that require a careful approach. Arnold Palmer's course, completed in 2004, features a surprising amount of elevation change across its undulating design. Play this course twice and you might have a different approach on every hole. The grandiose Watson course seems to be a fan favorite, with its links style design and generous use of sand bunkers that has golfers of all abilities questioning their strategy. Five sets of tees make the course more approachable for varying skill levels, and you should be prepared to use all the clubs in your bag on this one! It's obvious that Watson puts just as much thought and effort, if not more, into designing courses as he does playing them. Starters on each course, frequent beverage carts, and battery- powered carts with GPS and rain covers keep things humming along, even during peak season in the winter. An on-site golf academy has both trained professionals and features training by professionals, so if you're serious about improving your golf game, try to squeeze in some sessions with Reunion's top tier pro staff. Just one hour with an instructor felt like it took several strokes off of my (admittedly large) handicap. Smart summer visitors can take advantage of Reunion's Summer Golf Camps which run Monday through Friday and feature on-course instruction followed by lunch. There are eight neighborhood pools scattered around the property. Considering the size of the resort, having a pool nearby is a big plus— especially during the hot summer months. But it's not uncommon to see
