The 10th Annual It's All About the Kids signature event benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® Friends of St. Jude (FOSJ) Miami, the young professionals group dedicated to raising awareness and funding for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®, hosted members of the South Florida community at the 10th Annual International Dermatology It's All About the Kids signature event, presented by the Andrés Asion Foundation. "We are excited to have hosted our 10th Anniversary International Dermatology It's All About The Kids, which was another successful event, that helps ensure children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases can receive the treatment and care they need," said Desiree Valls, FOSJ- Miami Executive Committee Chair. "Thanks to our partners and South Florida's ongoing support, Friends of St. Jude Miami has raised more than $1.5 million over the past ten years to help ensure that no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for their treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live." Held September 30 at the Eden Roc Miami Beach, this year they recognized community activist/philanthropist, Wendy Grant, with the "Stephan Gutierrez Award." International Dermatology served as the event's title sponsor for the ninth consecutive year, along with sponsors Stephan Gutierrez Foundation, Goya Foods, The Valls Family, Comcast, Richmond Global, Academica, Gary Nader Fine Art, and Shop.com.
