FASHION Gevril presents their striking "Times Square Collection" IT'S ABOUT TIME Gevril, Switzerland's leading watchmaker since 1758, is now touting their newest line of iconic luxury timepieces, The Times Square Collection. The Times Square Collection has already earned the Lugano-based watchmaker recognition from international distributors for the watch's artistic silhouette. Inspired by the cosmopolitan energy of the world's most famous crossroads of business and art, The Times Square Collection brings together classical and avant-garde design in a modern, limited-edition timepiece. Gevril's new collection is sleek and strong β€” the next generation of classical elegance made popular by its Avenue of the Americas Collection β€” with a fresh masculine design reminiscent of the Art Moderne movement. The Times Square Collection will take you from boardroom to black-tie, yet is stylish enough to take you through your favorite late-night indulgences, whether in a downtown jazz club or other evening affair. The Times Square Collection is available in both sport and luxury editions. The two big-date versions, available in both classic and sport editions, are powered by ETA 2896 featuring 28,800 vibrations per hour and 22 jewels. According to Gevril President Samuel Friedmann, The Times Square Collection offers a perfect timepiece for today's collector. "Our customers have a sophisticated sense of aesthetics and demand extremely high quality technology. In creating The Times Square Collection, we have crafted a timepiece that is modern, clean and artistically forward-thinking β€”it is a culmination of the spirit and ingenuity of today's successful man. "The "Luxury" edition projects refinement and captures the elegance of its predecessor, the Avenue of Americas watch, featuring a classically decorated, textured dial and Arabic numerals. The "Sports" edition features a minimalist black and gray dial accented with contrasting markers and Arabic numerals. A curved black titanium case is affixed to either a matching titanium bracelet, or a contoured high-quality silicone strap. Gevril's Times Square Collection is available in either 316 Stainless Steel or 18K solid Rose Gold; the Sports edition is exclusively offered in Titanium. Prices start at $3495 and reach $25,000, depending on case metals. Each edition will be limited to 500 pieces. Gevril has incorporated the curved-case architecture of the Avenue of Americas watch into the The Times Square Collection, creating a secure, custom feel on the wrist; here is where Gevril excels in making form every bit as good as function. An oversized curved and beveled grade "A" sapphire crystal serves as the looking glass through which all will view the watch's exquisite dial. Fit and finish is impeccable from every viewing angle, and is enhanced by the Times Square's fluid design. The curved exhibition case back features a laser engraved "G" logo and the timepiece is water resistant to 5 meters. Gevril has remained loyal to the vision created in 1721 by its company's namesake, Jacques Gevril, in Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. After creating his first watch, Gevril went on to become the royal watchmaker to many of Europe's aristocratic families including the King of Spain, Ferdinand VI. Whether found on Geneva's Rue Gevril, or in Europe's many horological museums and history books, the Gevril name is recognized for its strong tradition of fine timepieces. Gevril is pleased to continue that tradition today with the launch its Times Square Collection. ABOUT GEVRIL GROUPOriginally, the Gevril brand was the sole focus of the Gevril company. Gevril has since grown beyond the boundaries of any one brand, and with careful planning and considerable forethought, Gevril has evolved into the Gevril Group, distributor of more than thirty select watch brands. Gevril Group carries exceptional casual, dressy, and sporty timepieces for men, women, and children at low, mid-range, and luxury price points.
